Jon Ander Ibarra (Prom. 60) holds a double degree in Business Administration and Law from the University of Barcelona. University of Deusto.
After completing his university studies, he was awarded a ICEX ScholarshipThe Spanish Government's agency for the promotion of the internationalisation of companies.
As an ICEX scholarship holder, he studied an MBA in international business management in Madrid, being the best academic record of his class.
Subsequently, he joined the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington DC.
From there he collaborated in defending the interests of Spanish companies before the US authorities and informed the Spanish Government's trade policy vis-à-vis the Biden Administration and the incumbent Trump administration.
This 2025, for the last phase of the ICEX scholarship, you will have the honour of joining the World Bank at his office in Mexicowhere he will advise on the financing of infrastructure projects in Latin American countries.
In his spare time he likes swimming, reading, spending time with my friends and listening to music.
