Javier Camacho He was a primary school English teacher at Gaztelueta for 15 years. He is currently a teacher at the Official Language School in Barakaldo. "From my time at the school I keep important lessons and experiences, as well as very good friends. I maintain a close relationship with Gaztelueta and I feel very grateful for all that I have received."
What time do you wake up every morning? Around 7:30am, I prepare lunch and breakfast for the children and take them to school.
What is your best moment of the day? When I get home and my children are waiting for me to play a board game together.
Your favourite film? Life is Beautiful y Chain of favoursI think they make you think.
Which historical figure would you go to dinner with? With Anne Frank. It seems to me an intimate portrait of human qualities in an extreme situation.
What would you eat at your last meal? An assortment of cakes and pastries. I have a sweet tooth.
A phrase that has left its mark on you? One from my mother: "Do good and look not to whom. Do evil and save yourself"
What has been the best thing about your time at Gaztelueta? There are many, but of all of them I would like to highlight two: the friendship with my classmates and the daily relationship with the students.
Which event do you remember most fondly? The Sports Party. I have always found it very exciting to meet up with families and take stock of the year. I also fondly remember the staff Christmas dinners.
With whom would I watch a sunset under this mast? With my friend Ramón Pomar with whom I maintain a great friendship and have a lot of fun.
