Last Friday the Gaztelueta Symphonic Band visited Gaztelueta. Irabia-Izaga school of Pamplona, in a fantastic concert in the hall of the Central Pavilion which was attended by our 3rd year Infant pupils as well as all the Primary pupils and which delighted pupils and teachers alike.
The band, which is part of the school's Music School, is made up of more than 70 members, including pupils, former pupils, parents and even grandparents.
From its director Ricardo OficialdeguiThe musical group delighted those present with several songs in which they challenged the audience to test their hearing acuity, recognising great pieces from the history of music, discriminating the participation of certain instruments, accompanying the band following the rhythm, but above all conveying their passion for music and highlighting the talent of each of its members at the service of the whole band.
At the end of the concert, we had the opportunity to share with the conductor and two of the members of the band their experience in recent years in a Symphony Orchestra that excited all the attendees to continue enjoying and training in their artistic vocations.
