This stay is part of Gaztelueta's internationalisation programme, coordinated by Professor Chechu Garitagoitia, which seeks to promote knowledge of other cultures and strengthen the global dimension of learning.

During their visit, Michal and Bartek have not only been fully integrated into school life, but they have also had the opportunity to give a session in the 4th year of Primary and another in the 1st year of ESO, bringing Polish culture and traditions closer to the pupils. They also had a meeting with Mikel Elía, director of Gaztelueta.

According to them, what surprised them most was the relationship of trust and respect between students and teachers, the welcome they received in the classes, and the possibility of living the Christian faith within the school. They also highlighted the beauty of the surroundings and the location of Gaztelueta.

Both students have a good command of languages, especially Spanish, and are very keen on sports: during their stay, they have played football and jogged along the beach.

Their stay at Gaztelueta has been an enriching experience both for them and for the families and students who have welcomed them, reinforcing the school's commitment to international education and intercultural learning.
