Last Friday, Gaztelueta Infant School children celebrated their traditional Christmas Party, the central theme of which was the representation of the Nativity story. With enthusiasm and creativity, the children offered a show full of tenderness, illusion and meaning for all the families present.
Each class was in charge of bringing to life different characters in this endearing story: the students from 3rd Year Infants dressed as Romans, giving a majestic and solemn touch to the spectacle; the little ones from 2nd Year Infants They dazzled like little angels, filling the stage with light and joy; while those from 1st Infantsdressed as little shepherds, brought that humble and warm air characteristic of the Nativity Scene.
In addition, other pupils played prominent roles: there was no lack of the Star of the Eastwho guided all those present on the way to the portal, the The Three Wise Menwho offered their gifts to the Baby Jesus, and the indispensable Saint Joseph and the Virgin Maryperformed with great delicacy and emotion by two little ones who won the applause of everyone.
The careful staging, the colourful costumes and the Christmas songs performed by the children made this party an unforgettable moment. The excited families did not stop applauding and photographing this event that united the Infant School families in a familiar Christmas spirit.
As every year, the Gaztelueta Children's Christmas Party was consolidated as an endearing tradition that celebrates the true meaning of these dates in the Children's Pavilion: the children's excited preparation for the birth of the Child Jesus. Congratulations to all the participants!
