Juan Zorrilla (b. 39) has a degree in Law from the University of Deusto and Master MBA Marketing and Sales in ESIC -Madrid, where he stayed for a few years working after completing his training before finally making a firm commitment to his family vocation and returning to his home in Getxo. Since then, he has always worked in business development in companies linked to the world of construction and for almost 10 years he has been responsible for National Key Accounts at JUNO Paints.
His life gamble was clearly a winning one; married, with 3 children, a dog and a hamster, although he travels a lot for work, when he is at home he exercises "with the children all day long on the move like any other parent today. Times have certainly changed in this respect since our parents' time. What hasn't changed is the importance of the woman in the family, she is still the anchor without a doubt. In her spare time she enjoys sport, especially paddle tennis and golf above all others. At the age of 46, she has set herself the challenge of running the Madrid Marathon 2024 "and I have to prepare for it with great care until the end of April".
From his years at Gaztelueta he remembers all the teachers and classmates with great affection. "We had true geniuses of humour. We are a class where we are all very fond of each other, despite the time and distance".
Looking back, he is clear about the influence the school has had on his life. "I probably can't tell you anything specific, but I am sure that it is present in everything. Passing through Gaztelueta is a spectacular learning of human values, which we all take with us and try to maintain throughout our lives. Having gone through Gaztelueta puts you on a good path to be a good person, which is what it's all about".
