The 1st , 2nd and 3rd Primary pupils <\/a>During the second term, the theme for team projects and tasks in different subjects will be content related to the historical territory of Bizkaia. Posters have been put up in the corridors to set the scene and decorate, but also to gather information for the different tasks.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first part of the project consisted of collecting and classifying information about some of the animals present in the rich biodiversity of our forests and coasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second part consisted of creating a puzzle of Bizkaia with the 7 counties, and placing the Junteras Houses<\/em> as well as the 5 bocineros mountains. We begin an exciting term discovering the cultural traditions and the marvellous natural and scenic wealth of our territory. The excursions will also contribute to these contents with visits to the fine arts museum, the Avellaneda meeting house and the mining museum in Gallarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the Bizkaia project will focus on the knowledge of the Basque rural sports, better known as Herri kirolak<\/em>. There will be 4 sports in which the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of Primary School will take part, with the addition that each team will have members from all three years. All the teams will be named after the mountains, villages and rivers of Bizkaia, with the aim of promoting knowledge of Bizkaia's geography among our pupils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each day of the week the pupils will take part in the various competitions we organise, finishing on the last day before the Easter holidays by playing the finals of each of the rural sports on offer.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
