Alfonso Fern\u00e1ndez (Prom. 66) is studying Psychology + Programme in Organisational Psychology at the University of Deusto<\/a>\u00a0and is currently in his third year of Erasmus in Birmingham, England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He would like to train in psychoanalysis and work as a clinical psychologist. Until now he has worked as a Hockey+ coach (category formed by people with intellectual disabilities) in Hockey Getxo and in a project for the dissemination of good practices in the field of the Human Right to Water and Sanitation with the Zabalketa Association <\/a>founded by Gaztelueta Alumni. He also carries out different voluntary work as a teacher in the Phidias Foundation<\/a> and others in Valladolid, Lourdes, Lebanon and Ghana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of his great hobbies is cinema, to which he devotes much of his free time. When he was at school he also made short films with his friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"I think there is something special about film that, perhaps especially as a student of psychology, engages and excites me; it is still a representation of the human condition, an art form. There is a lot of psychology behind it<\/em>\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"I have always felt very lucky to have gone to Gaztelueta. Above all, it has given me my best friendships, many of which I have no doubt will last a lifetime. At school I also had many opportunities to do things that I love; I can't fail to mention the Christmas festivals in which I participated with great enthusiasm, as well as many volunteering and activities that I have joined later that started with proposals at school. The people who make up Gaztelueta have taught me to be honest, responsible, respectful, curious and critical. I am very grateful to them for not limiting themselves to teaching us what was in the textbooks and for educating by example. Now I understand what a privilege it is to grow up surrounded by such a nurturing environment with so much affection.<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
