Gast\u00f3n Garc\u00eda and Jaime Aja, who came second and third in Chemistry and Physics respectively, collected their prizes. Jaime also received an honourable mention in the national phase.<\/p>\n<p>The event was held in the Aula Magna of the UPV\/EHU and was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology. This year a total of 200 students from a total of 50 secondary schools in the Basque Country took part. The schools and teachers were also awarded prizes for being part of the successes achieved by the students.
