More than 750 projects and experiences from 500 educational centres have participated in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.premiosinnovacioneducativa.com\/finalistas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Educational Innovation Award<\/a> 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The project, imported from England by the Kid's Kitcar-Greenpower Iberia association and implemented in Gaztelueta for the first time in Spain, aims for students to develop STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) skills as a team by building an electric and ecological car with which they then compete in different races.<\/p>\n<p><meta charset=\"utf-8\"><\/p>\n<p>The programme has involved 150 students from 5th year of Primary and 1st year of ESO and next year, in view of the good results, it will be extended to other levels. This innovative project aims to instil in students, in a very attractive way, the commitment to the environment, through the construction of electric and eco-designed cars.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Gaztelueta will exhibit the Greenpower project in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aeipro.com\/es\/congresos\/cidip2018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">22nd International Congress on Project Management and Engineering<\/a>organised by the Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de la Universidad de Educaci\u00f3n a Distancia (UNED), in collaboration with the Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Direcci\u00f3n e Ingenier\u00eda de Proyectos (AEIPRO) and to be held in Madrid on 11, 12 and 13 July 2018.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.europapress.es\/euskadi\/noticia-colegio-gaztelueta-leioa-bizkaia-finalista-premios-innovacion-educativa-proyecto-greenpower-20180525182024.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Europa Press<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Premio\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"d1df757a-25a7-49df-8508-ff2334c5b0b2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gaztelueta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/premio.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"video-embed-field-responsive-video form-group\"><iframe width=\"854\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Yh3C_QggPhI?autoplay=0&amp;start=0&amp;rel=0\"><\/iframe><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SchoolMars and EIM consultants have selected the Greenpower project as one of the most innovative experiences in the use of technology in education.
