Therefore, and <strong>in the framework of shared work and learning with other educational centres, students from Somorrostro Training and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arangoya.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arangoya Bilbao<\/a> attended a robotics session<\/strong> at the Gaztelueta school at the end of November.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of the meeting, a teacher from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.somorrostro.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Somorrostro Training Centre<\/a> presented one of his projects, on water-powered rockets, and a Robotics teacher from Gaztelueta did the same, explaining how Arduino boards work.<\/p>\n<p>After the presentations, students worked in groups using these boards to programme the operation of a traffic light. At the end of the afternoon, they were also able to see how the school's 3D printer works.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-embed-field-responsive-video form-group\"><iframe width=\"854\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NgKrItR7xhM?autoplay=1&amp;start=0&amp;rel=0\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>On the previous day, teachers from the Arangoya and Gaztelueta schools were able to listen to a session by Beatriz Plaza, a member of the Arangoya community and lecturer at the UPV\/EHU's Faculty of Economics and Business, titled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=V4Kvh_U2r0c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Disruptive technologies in an uncertain global context'.<\/strong><\/a>The new technological trends that are going to have the greatest impact on our society and economy in the short and medium term.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Collaboration between these and other schools on similar projects enriches and benefits all participants and Gaztelueta School is firmly committed to these projects with projects such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gaztelueta.com\/es\/innovacion-steam\/competencias-steam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greenpower,<\/a> among others.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-embed-field-responsive-video form-group\"><iframe width=\"854\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Khw3ezV08lE?autoplay=1&amp;start=0&amp;rel=0\"><\/iframe><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Photo album on Facebook and Instagram Robots and the infinite possibilities they offer are becoming an increasingly important part of school education so that today's students are well prepared for tomorrow's society.
