This weekend, a group of high school students from Gaztelueta took part in the diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes<\/strong>organised by the Hospitalidad Vizca\u00edna de Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Lourdes (Biscayan Hospitality of Our Lady of Lourdes)<\/a><\/strong>which took place from 17 to 19 October<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pilgrimage, held continuously since 1958 - the centenary of the apparitions of Our Lady to Saint Bernadette - brings together hundreds of people from all over the diocese of Bilbao every year. Since 1983, the Hospitalidad Vizca\u00edna has been in charge of its organisation, always with the presence of the diocesan bishops. In this year's edition, the pilgrims were accompanied by the Bishop Joseba Segura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our students participated as volunteers<\/strong>The pilgrimage will be a great opportunity to collaborate in the care and accompaniment of the sick - the main beneficiaries of the pilgrimage -, sharing with them moments of service, prayer and conviviality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hospitalidad Vizca\u00edna was especially grateful for the collaboration of the young people, whose testimony of dedication and joy contributed to creating an atmosphere of faith and fraternity throughout the pilgrimage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An experience that has undoubtedly left its mark on all the participants and that reinforces in our pupils the value of the service to others<\/strong> as a path of personal and Christian growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
