Baccalaureate students together with members of the Ertzaintza Science Police explain the project at an educational centre in Helsinki.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The English College (Helsinki<\/a>i), together with 30 other schools from 15 different countries, are participating in this innovative project which aims to develop students' STEAM skills<\/a> (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics<\/em>), through the investigation of a\u00a0mock crime<\/a>\u00a0and prepared by the forensic police.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Between October and March the students will have to analyse in the\u00a0laboratories\u00a0<\/a>from their respective schools the evidence they have collected at the crime scene. The fictitious crime they have to investigate this year is the theft of a painting by Leonardo Da Vinci, which is described in the\u00a0introductory video<\/a>\u00a0of the project.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Gaztelueta students were welcomed by the families of the Finnish students participating in the project, who will attend the international phase in Bilbao in March 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n
