In short, much more than just having fun with a ball or practising athletics.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Every year in Gaztelueta, the students of the 1st Baccalaureate carry out a didactic unit on the following subjects\u00a0<em><strong><a aria-label=\"fitness (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/cuidateplus.marca.com\/ejercicio-fisico\/diccionario\/fitness.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">f<\/a>itness<\/strong><\/em>. They went to Hydra, a nearby gym to live and experience with intensity the different ways of training physical condition. The sessions consisted of doing exercises of <em>crossfit<\/em> (a high-intensity workout combining power, flexibility, strength, endurance, agility and coordination);\u00a0<em>spinning<\/em>\u00a0 or aerobic exercise performed on an exercise bike and which provides muscular benefits from the waist down, as well as being good for the heart; and <em>bodypump, <\/em>a physical workout that is the sum of combining aerobic activities with weight training through weightlifting exercises. They took place under the supervision of trainers from the Hydra centre in the Artea shopping centre in Leioa.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>By getting to know different training activities, pupils<strong> They manage to find the necessary motivation and thus it is easier to develop a physical activity habit.<\/strong> over the years with the aim of leading a healthy life.\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Physical Education is an important subject in any education.
