On a day like today, nearly seven decades ago, a project dreamt up by St. Josemar\u00eda, founder of the Opus Dei<\/a>. It was a group of families who pushed it forward by seeking for their children values education in a person-centred family environment<\/strong>In this project, the development of human virtues such as sincerity, loyalty, companionship and joy, all with a Christian sense of life, will take precedence.<\/p>\n

Thus, on 16 October 1951, 63 students began their classes, taught by a young teaching group, but full of enthusiasm and desire to work. From the beginning, its pillars were clear, and today it remains faithful to them on a daily basis. They are the educational excellence<\/a>the personal development<\/a>the educational innovation<\/a> and the footing culture, sport and sustainability<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This anniversary is celebrated in about exceptional circumstances,<\/a> to which, in order to continue serving families and society, Gaztelueta has adapted<\/a> by putting all the means at its disposal to continue to be able to do what it has been doing for the last 69 years of its history: helping families in the education of their children.<\/p>\n
